I used Jimmy Dean® Applewood Smoked Bacon for this recipe. I picked it up at Walmart and loved the flavor it added to the pork chops. No fancy seasonings are necessary—just quality bacon and a touch of brown sugar for balance.

These pork chops use only three ingredients and are effortless to prepare. Wrap each thick-cut pork chop with a couple of slices of bacon, place them directly in the crockpot, sprinkle with brown sugar, cover, and cook. No added liquid is needed.

Cooking tip: I prefer to cook these on high for about 3 hours. The chops stay tender and juicy without falling apart. If you have more time, cooking on low for 6 hours also works well.

When they’re done, use tongs to remove the chops from the crockpot. If you’d like the bacon crisper, arrange the chops on a baking sheet and place them under the broiler for a minute or two—just long enough to crisp the bacon without overcooking the pork.
