This berry rosé sangria is fruity, refreshing, and easy to make. It combines strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and rosé for a bright, summer-ready drink.

I love sangria any time of year, but it’s especially perfect in summer. A cold glass of sangria is one of the most refreshing ways to cool off when it’s hot and humid.
In the Midwest, summer heat and humidity are common, so I rely on fruity cocktails and punches to stay refreshed. This berry rosé sangria is one of my favorites—rosé adds a light, floral note that pairs beautifully with mixed berries.

How to Make Berry Rosé Sangria
Start with a large pitcher or punch bowl so it’s easy to add fruit and stir. Add a cup each of halved strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries. These three berries create a balanced, fruity base; you can add blackberries for more depth if you like. Add a sliced lemon for a bright citrus note.

Next, pour in a full bottle of rosé and add the cordials: raspberry liqueur and blackberry brandy. Stir the mixture to combine the flavors, then refrigerate. Chilling allows the fruit to infuse the wine—30 minutes is fine, but overnight yields the best flavor, similar to marinating.

Just before serving, add club soda for a touch of fizz and to soften the alcohol. Without club soda, the sangria will be stronger—keep extra club soda on hand so guests can adjust the strength to taste. Serve over ice and spoon some of the macerated berries into each glass. Garnish with a lemon slice and a sprig of fresh mint for a pretty, aromatic finish.
That’s all it takes to make a bright, fruity berry rosé sangria perfect for summer gatherings.

Can I make sangria ahead of time?
Yes. Sangria improves with time as the fruit infuses the wine. Refrigerate the pitcher for at least 30 minutes, but for the best flavor, make it the night before. Overnight chilling lets the berries fully release their juices into the rosé.

What if I can’t find blackberry brandy?
If blackberry brandy isn’t available, check the liqueur or schnapps aisle—blackberry schnapps is an easy substitute. You can also use a berry-flavored vodka or another fruit liqueur you enjoy. The goal is to boost the berry flavor, so any berry-based spirit works well.
