Let’s grab what you need and get cooking

School breakfast pizza ingredients
  • Pizza dough: Use your favorite store-bought or homemade dough. If you need a gluten-free option, choose gluten-free dough so everyone can enjoy the same meal.
  • Country gravy: Swap traditional tomato sauce for country gravy to give this pizza a true breakfast flavor. You can use a store-bought mix for speed or make a homemade sausage gravy if you prefer.
Step by step instructions for school breakfast pizza
  1. Whisk the gravy thoroughly to remove lumps. Spread gravy across the par-baked crust to the edges before topping with cheese and cooked sausage — no bare crust needed.

Note: Many commercial gravies use wheat flour to thicken, so if you need a gluten-free version, look for a labeled gluten-free gravy at the grocery store.

Notes

How should I store the leftovers?

After cooling, store pizza slices in an airtight container or freezer bag in the refrigerator for 2–3 days. Reheat in the air fryer or microwave, or enjoy cold.

Pro tip: Add favorite toppings like sliced green onions, peppers, or a sprinkle of paprika to personalize the pizza.
