This past summer I discovered my oldest son, Lucian, absolutely loves honey buns. I hadn’t bought them before, but my parents had them as a snack during an overnight visit and Lucian came back asking for more. While they won’t be an everyday treat in our house, honey buns are a fun option for special occasions. Lori Lowery designed a charming Easter printable called “Hey Honey Bunny” that works perfectly as a small favor or an addition to an Easter basket.

This project is quick, simple, and a sweet way to show someone you care.

Supplies:
Card stock (off-white works well)
Hole punch (optional)
String, ribbon, or washi tape
Honey buns
Directions:
Print the free Hey Honey Bunny printable and cut out the cards.

If you plan to give the honey bun soon after assembling, use a hole punch in the corner of the card and tie it to the bun with ribbon or baker’s twine.

Punching a hole through the packaging could let the bun stale more quickly, so if you want to keep it fresher, attach the card with decorative washi tape in a spring or Easter pattern. Another option is to wrap ribbon or string around the bun snugly without crushing it, securing the note that way.
If you haven’t bought honey buns before, they’re commonly found at Walmart near Little Debbie snacks.
Enjoy this easy and cute Easter printable project!
